Our Toddler Care program channels all that big energy into safe exploration, early learning, and lots of hugs. We welcome busy little ones who are learning to walk, talk, and assert their independence, and we give them a structured, loving space to practice new skills.
Toddlers learn best through play, so our day is filled with hands-on social activities. Children share toys, take turns, and play side-by-side in small groups, gently guided by teachers who model kind words and simple problem-solving. Over time, this daily practice builds real social skills, not just "keeping them busy."
Motor skills development is woven into everything we do. You'll see toddlers climbing soft structures, pushing carts, building with blocks, and practicing hand strength with crayons, playdough, and simple puzzles. These activities support both gross and fine motor development and help prepare little hands and bodies for preschool.
We provide healthy meals and snacks sized just right for toddlers, introducing a variety of flavors and textures. Mealtime is also a chance to work on self-feeding, manners, and language: naming foods, asking for "more," and trying something new.
Creative play is a big part of our routine. We offer open-ended materials for art, music, and sensory exploration - paint, shakers, water play, and more - so toddlers can express themselves while learning colors, shapes, and cause and effect.
Behavior guidance is always positive and gentle. We follow our philosophy of catching children doing good things and telling them about it, redirecting when needed and helping toddlers name big feelings. The result is a warm toddler room where children feel secure, build confidence, and come home tired, happy, and proud of what they did that day in our child care facility.
